Stavro wind farm, Sweden
We built the foundations of a new wind farm in Northern Sweden, 70 kilometers northeast from Örnsköldsvik.
The work began in July 2019 and the project was completed in summer 2021. We built the Balance of Plant work of the new wind farm, namely the turbine foundations and lifting areas, as well as wind park’s internal roads and cabling.
The project was YIT's first wind park contract in Sweden. In Finland, YIT has contracted about one hundred wind power foundations.
We also develop and acquire permits for other wind farms to make sure they are ready to be sold in Finland.
YIT has agreed to carry out the construction works for the wind farm in Sweden
