New offices of M-Files are receiving praise

M-Files, a company focused on data management solutions, has expanded its offices in Tampere and Helsinki. The new facilities are designed to support working, comfort and well-being.

M-Files' Tampere headquarters are now located in the GO21 office block and its Helsinki operations are located in Maistraatinportti in Pasila. Both premises are located along excellent transport connections, and their design has taken into account, among other things, acoustics, ergonomics, and the comfort and adaptability of the premises.

Petra Rosvall, Chief People Officer at M-Files, says that the new premises have received a lot of positive feedback.

The premises include, among other things, single-person pop-in rooms that are suitable for Teams meetings. There are rooms for work tasks that require concentration, the conditions of which have been optimized through acoustics and ergonomics.

“The common spaces have been built to be attractive and café-like to enable informal meetings and interaction. The brainstorming and workshop rooms, on the other hand, have whiteboard walls to support ideation,” lists Rosvall.

With the Smart Office application, employees can plan their own remote and local working days. The information is visible to other users of the application, which makes it easier to organize joint meetings, for example.

Both locations have a gym, Tampere has a band room, and Pasila is just a few steps from the green jogging paths of Keskuspuisto. The unique architecture of Maistraatinportti plays a role in this.

“The aesthetic qualities of the office space should not be underestimated, because even though they are not always consciously noticed, they create a good overall feeling in the workplace. That is why we have invested in the interior design, material choices and lighting of the premises,” says Rosvall.
