Prysmian's warehouse building, Kirkkonummi

We built the hall buildings for the Prysmian Group marine cable production plant in Kirkkonummi.

Together with Prysmian Group Finland Oy, we will build new hall buildings in the company's Kirkkonummi production site for submarine cables. The project utilizes expertise in demanding and versatile production industry construction, as well as the ability to develop solutions suitable for customer needs. The project is implemented as a total responsibility contract.

The project has required extensive expertise, utilizing the expertise of the customer, YIT and partners in seamless cooperation. The built site is located in a very small space in the factory area, and the production of the adjacent factory was running without interruption during construction.

We built an extension of four hall buildings and a new material warehouse in the area. The new premises have an area of 26,000 m². The contract includes demanding foundation construction work, concrete and steel construction work, as well as technical building work. The piling started in the summer of 2024 and the contract has been completed ahead of schedule at the end of 2025.
