If we look at the durability of the structures, we can be sure that Mall of Tripla will still be standing two hundred years from now. In the Mall of Tripla, thousands of square metres have been leased to new brands landing in Finland. In addition to fashion trendsetters, new businesses join our growing range of restaurants.

A mall’s accessibility issues are not tackled simply by building a wheelchair ramp or by making it easy for parents with prams to find their way in. Maybe we should rethink the entire signage system so that it serves the needs of all kinds of customers and promotes accessibility, muses Pirjo Aalto, Commercial Development Director at the Mall of Tripla.

How can the future trends be forecast? How to know which phenomena will be on consumers’ lips in a year or two? Few can be certain about what the customers of the future want—but some have a better idea than others.

Who came up with it? Where did the idea come from? Certainly not out of the blue. At a big construction site, casting concrete is a daily task, with always some extra material. The thought was bubbling under for a while around the worksite and the Tripla office and eventually it formed into actual idea: let’s put the leftover concrete to good use by making it into concrete roadblocks.

Tripla is the new centre of Helsinki – and the Mall of Tripla its markets and high streets. The new hub of Central Pasila is building into a miniature city, where you can do everything you would downtown – but easier and quicker, safe from drizzles and downpours.
