The WeeGee House

The completely renovated WeeGee House is located in the heart of the green district of Tapiola. This 17,500 m² former book Weilin+Göös printing house now accommodates the Espoo Museum of Modern Art EMMA, which is Finland’s largest art museum.

The reparation and renovation work for the WeeGee building was carried out by YIT Renovation Services. In 18 months, the house was rebuilt inside and out. The facade elements, entire roofing, intermediate floors and other internal and external structures were replaced. The renovation work was completed in 2006.
